I bought this without realizing the songs on it were rerecorded (sounds a little different than the studio albums), but I have to say I’m very happy with the sound quality. I think its great that the guys got together and gave their fans something on vinyl that doesn’t cost an arm & a leg. I’m really enjoying my copy! Thank you!

Excellent compilation. Because of music rights issues with their old label, Columbia, some songs have been re-recorded and some of the newer, remixed, but that's why I love it. It's like alternate versions you'd find on a deluxe edition or box set. Glen's voice is better than ever, and Todd & Dean's vocals and tasteful playing add just the right sound that makes Toad special. More vinyl please (I'm missing fear & Coil). Looking forward to seeing you this summer!

Excellent music, I have been a fan since I heard the CD Fear and definitely feel that the music stands the test of time. I wish that the Album version was available because I find Vinyl to so much more impressive especially on my Kenwood system that I bought in 1985 that is still a much better alternative to the way people listen to music today. So thanks to you guys for putting out great music and I watch to see if you get close to St Louis MO cuz would love to see live.

Very happy. The older songs (Coil and earlier) sound different, like maybe they’ve been remixed. Glen’s singing is more pronounced as though some of the background effects/music has been toned down a bit. Whatever it is, I like it, and the album is great. If you like Toad, you won’t be disappointed.

Throughout my adult life - from my 20’s as a music writer - through my 40’s when “All I Want” was the first song that my wife and I danced to at our wedding - as a “young” dad when my wife, daughter and I danced freely to Toad live on a Southern Oregon hillside to a more mature dad, when all three of us moved to Ohio and saw Glen and the band play on the Kent Stage - Toad the Wet Sprocket has been a constant soundtrack to many of the important moments in our lives. All the tears of joy and heartbreak as my emotional bungee cord is stretched and released by the honest lyrics and strains of “California Wasted” and “Walk on the Ocean” and the “The Moment” and…well literally every song on this double LP has commanded my complete and utter attention. If for some reason you are reading this and don’t have this LP, I can only say that the words and music from Glen Phillips and the rest of Toad the Wet Sprocket have made the enjoyment of my life’s moments more joyous and meaningful. I mean, when you hear your daughter singing in the shower “every path you follow, there’s another left behind”, I know these guys have left an indelible beauty mark on my soul. Until we meet again…I will always cherish this LP.

A very good mix of Toad’s best songs. The vinyl pressing is excellent and presented with care. I am hoping they continue to release past albums on vinyl. I missed out a Dulcinea and would really like to get a copy.

I have been a Toad fan since College in the late 80's. This album is awesome. I had to have it. The remixes are new and fresh, but a part of me wishes for all the original versions packaged like this. Also, I wish you all would release "In Light Syrup" and "Architect of Ruin" on vinyl. My Toad The Wet Sprocket vinyl searches would then be complete. Toad is one the best bands in the last 35 years. Just my opinion.

Excellent quality and so worth the wait! I moved across the country while this was on pre-order and thankfully the merch shop was accommodating. When this showed up, I put on a pair of Teva sandals and a flannel and I felt like I was back at summer camp listening to Dulcinea on my walkman. So glad to have this.

I liked plkyduk's review and agree, but I doubt we'd agree on what songs we'd prefer on two vinyl albums. I can say I missed some songs that I think should be there. I don't love a few of those that are on there. But... the tour was AMAZING. I was so happy to get VIP tix for their last show, and though I'm sure they were tired and really happy the tour was ending, they STILL really made that my single best concert experience ever. This album reminds me, to a large degree, of that show. It's good stuff, for sure. I just might have added other songs and removed a few if I were in charge. 5 of 5, still.
